Non/Renewable
Resources

Hello everyone! Today we are going to talk about non/renewable resources. Well let's go on and see what we are going to talk about.

Natural Resources

What does people mean by natural resources exactly? Well it means to occur naturally within  environments and humans do not disturb it in it's natural form. What is the differences between nonrenewable and renewable? Well nonrenewable is you will run out of it soon you can't  just use it over and over like renewable you can use it over and over and never run out of it. Here are some examples of nonrenewable and renewable...

nonrenewable

1. Coal
2. Oil
3. Fossil Fuels

renewable

1.sunlight
2.wind
3. water

Those are some examples of nonrenewable resources and renewable resources. Well we should move on to somethings.

 Fossil Fuels

Some people ask me what are fossil fuels exactly?  Well they are natural fuel.  Fossil fuels are nonrenewable resources because we just can't use them over and over again and never run out we are going to run out of them soon. That's why they are considered as nonrenewable resources.  Did you know that nonrenewable resources are used more than renewable resources. Well that's because nonrenewable resources give more energy than from renewable resources. Well let's go to a diffrent subject.

 Advantages and Disadvantages

Some people think that wind, hydroelectric, and solar energy are perfect but there are some disadvantages in those as well as advantages here are some of those things.

Advantages

Hydroelectric
1.  Hydroelectric power can be created 24/7
2. It is also another absolutely clean source of energy

 Wind

1. The wind is free and with modern technology it can be captured efficiently.
2. The wind energy is also clean

Solar
1. Solar energy is free
2. Solar energy does not cause pollution

Disadvantages

Hydroelectric

1.Like all power plants, hydroelectric plants are very expensive to build.
 2. The creation of a dam in one location may mean that those down river no longer have control of water flow.

Wind
1.people think wind turbines are tacky
2.even the largest single turbine can only power about 475 homes not a whole city.

Solar

1. You can only harness sun energy during the day time.
2. Even today's most efficient solar cells only convert just over 20% of the suns rays to electricity.

Those are advantages and disadvantages of all of those.

 Conservation

What is conservation?  Conservation means saving things from loss or waste. Why is conservation important? Conservation is important because it allows us to save things that can be used when when need them. turning off the lights so it can conserve electricity you can do multiple things.

Well that was the end of my blog bye everyone hope you liked it! :) :) :) :)
